Downforce Documentary

The cost of racing averages around $200,000 per year without sponsorship. Still, thousands of racers sacrifice their time and money in hopes of becoming a professional driver.

What it’s About

This documentary follows David Martinez, a GT4 racer who’s racing career was suspended when the pandemic cost him his sponsorships. It will follow them as we gain an understanding of his dreams and the sacrifices he is making in pursuit of them. It will also explore the importance of racing to European and Spanish culture.

Please Consider Donating

Any money given will be used to increase production value and cover production costs while in Barcelona. We are all college students and have little money to fund this documentary. We have already been to Barcelona and gathered all our footage. However, any further donations can be used to fund a multitude of post production factors as well as to gain us entry to film festivals across the globe. We appreciate any and all donations no matter the amount. Thank you!
